We are again in Berlin for this latest edition of “Around the World in Trams”.
As we saw last week the tram featured this week is a former GT6N which was modernised to become a GT6U. 1582 was built by Adtranz in 1997 (with the number 1082) and re-entered service following its refurbishment in 2015 as 1582. The tram is on route 61 and traffic is held up as traditional on-street loading takes place which is still common on several routes. The photo was taken on 3rd February 2017.
