Metro performance falls

The latest performance report on the Tyne and Wear Metro has been posted at stations across the network and shows that for the last four week period performance has fallen by quite a large amount.

These stats cover the four weeks between 11th October and 7th November and show that 77% of all trains running on the network were recorded as being on time (as always on time is within 3 minutes late or 30 seconds late). While this is better than the same four weeks in 2019 (when it was down at 75%) it is 11% less than the previous four weeks when 88% of trains were recorded as on time.

Unfortunately, its still the revised Covid-19 poster so we don’t know the reasons for this fall in performance as that space is taken up by reassurances of what Nexus are doing to make the environment Covid safe.
