Another closure on London Tramlink through the central Croydon area started on Friday 23rd October and will be continuing until Sunday 1st November. Throughout this period no trams will be running between Wandle Park and East Croydon in both directions.
This is the latest closure in connection with engineering works around the central Croydon loop and will see trams only running between Wimbledon and Wandle Park and from East Croydon to Beckenham Junction/Elmers End/New Addington. A replacement bus service will be running between Waddon Marsh and East Croydon throughout with the tramstops at Reeves Corner, Centrale, Wellesley Road, Church Street and George Street closed.
