Around the World in Trams: Innsbruck 305 & 303

Today we again head to the Austrian city of Innsbruck for this edition of “Around the World in Trams”.

Whereas last time out we saw a historic museum tram this time we are more up-to-date with an image of two 2008 built Bombardier Flexity Outlook trams. These are 305 (on the left) and 303, both in the plain red livery. These were the first low floor trams to run in the city and continue to operate the vast majority of services on the three line tram network. Both are running on route number 3 (the other two routes are numbered 1 and 6) and the network operate on a one metre gauge.
