The forthcoming Easter weekend will see more track replacement work taking place on Stagecoach Supertram which will mean revised services operating alongside replacement buses. The work this time will be concentrated on Netherthorpe Road and will take place on Easter Sunday 31st March and Easter Monday 1st April.
The track to be replaced is between Shalesmoor and University and this will affect services on the Yellow line to Middlewood and Blue line to Malin Bridge. Trams from Meadowhall and Halfway will run as normal as far as Cathedral where they will terminate with a replacement bus service then in operation as far as Shalesmoor. Services will then run as normal from Shalesmoor through to Malin Bridge and Middlewood. The replacement bus service will operate a one way circular route and will not be serving Netherthorpe Road tramstop.
Over the Easter period Stagecoach Supertram will be operating a Saturday service on Good Friday and Easter Saturday and a revised Sunday service on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
