In Pictures: Another tram Joins the Pact in Edinburgh

Often the Hogmanay tram in Edinburgh can carry on for quite some time into the following year but not so in 2020! 264 has already lost its special Hogmanay vinyls and is the latest tram to have “joined the pact” as it too now advertises Johnnie Walker and their Join the Pact campaign.

The advert on 264 is a blue version of the red as seen on 260 just before Christmas and like that advert there is no use of contravision with even the full height adverts devoid of this form of vinyl. This is the fourth full tram to receive adverts for Johnnie Walker but the mock-up tram at Edinburgh Airport also carries adverts too.

On 14th January and 264 runs along Princes Street shortly after having received its new advert.

260 – also with Johnnie Walker’s adverts applied – is seen in this view passing large Johnnie Walker adverts on the side of the old Frasers store which is being converted into a new whisky tourist attraction. (Both Photographs by Roy Calderwood)
