They Ran in 2019: Blackpool Toastrack 166

After yesterday’s foray to Blackpool today’s “They Ran in 2019” is again a Blackpool tram but this time it’s a tram which has left its former home to find a new home in Derbyshire at the Crich Tramway Village. The tram we feature is Blackpool Toastrack 166.

Sunny – and not so sunny occasionally! – weather will lead you to an open tram and they don’t become much more open that a Toastrack! 166 always seems to be a popular tram when the weather allows it out as the below photos illustrate for us.

In the first photo we find 166 just arriving at Wakebridge as it heads south.

And then the tram heads back north as it passes the remains of the quarry equipment at Crich. Both images were captured on 21st September 2019.

Both Photographs by Gareth Prior
