We’ve previously brought you the news of the improved timetable for the Tram-Train service on Stagecoach Supertram and it has now been confirmed that the Purple route will also be introducing a new timetable from Sunday 15th December.
The frequency of trams on the Purple route has always been an oddity with evenings and Sundays actually seeing a better frequency than during the day on other days! Currently its every 30 minutes Mondays to Saturdays daytime and every 20 minutes evenings and Sundays but from 15th December it will two trams an hour throughout the week.
There are also minor changes to timings on the timetable and Mondays to Fridays the last trams is now some 20 minutes later than currently.
