Revised service announced for Nottingham’s Goose Fair

The annual Goose Fair in Nottingham will again be taking place on The Forest recreation ground between 2nd and 6th October with this being a very busy period for Nottingham Express Transit, necessitating a slightly revised service operating to ensure everyone can get to enjoy all the fun of the fair.

The first day of the fair, Wednesday 2nd October, will see a normal weekday operation but then from Thursday 3rd October there will be some changes to the service frequency:

Thursday 3rd October

Until 1500: normal service

1500-1900: Every 8.5 minutes

1900-2200: Every 10 minutes

2200-end of service: Every 15 minutes

Friday 4th October

Until 1500: normal service

1500-1900: Every 8.5 minutes

1900-2200: Every 10 minutes

2200-end of service: Every 15 minutes

Saturday 5th October

0600-1000: Every 10 minutes

1000-2200: Every 8.5 minutes

2200-end of service: Every 15 minutes

Sunday 6th October

0600-1900: Every 10 minutes

1900-end of service: Every 10 minutes

Monday 7th October

Normal service resumes with a tram shuttle service between Bulwell and Beeston during evening peak.

The Forest Park and Ride site will also be closed between 1600 on Saturday 28th September and 0600 on Wednesday 9th October.
