Plaque installed at Seaton in memory of tramway supporter

A memorial plaque has been installed on the outside of the Seaton terminus building in honour of Anthony Caesar, a supporter of the tramway. The plaque was unveiled by Al and Gill Summers, friends of Mr Caesar at a small ceremony on Tuesday 16th July.

As well as the installation of the plaque a donation has been made to the Seaton Tramway in Mr Caesar’s name. The couple said: “We know the Tramway had a fond place in his heart. Anthony had done a tram driving experience at the tramway, which I know had achieved a life time ambition.”

The plaque is now available to see on the outside of the terminus building.
