For the third time in this series we feature the goods vehicles of the Manx Electric Railway as they see use during the events week (and slightly beyond!). This time around we feature not only the vans – 4 and 16 – but also one of the wagons.
16 is seen all alone at the very end of the current line open for regular passenger service at Ramsey. 16 won’t be alone for long though as Winter Saloon 19 is just performing the run-round manoeuvre and will soon be back to be coupled up to the van to return to Derby Castle on 6th September.
With Winter Saloon 19 providing power this view shows wagon 10 and van 4 at Derby Castle. The three had been in use on 8th September on a special photography tour. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)
