Around the World in 18 Trams: Toronto 4211

From Europe to North America as we now find ourselves in Canada for a view from Toronto’s tram system.

We are looking here at 4211 as is crosses Spadina Avenue working along Queen Street West with a route 501 service to Victoria Park. The date is 29th March 2005. Built in 1987 this was one of 52 streetcars which were built by two contractors MAN of Germany (bogies and articulation) and UTDC. The plan is that these streetcars will be replaced in full by Flexity Swifts from Bombardier.
