Our weekly look at recent progress on the track relay project along Bilston Road between Priestfield and The Royal as the steady rate of work continues ahead of the planned return of trams before Christmas. Attention is continuing on both tracks at various locations along Bilston Road with the line now having been closed for approaching five months. Andy Walters is on hand with these latest images.
But a little further along the road and more work is required to complete the inbound line.
Here it has been reduced to the trackbed awaiting further attention and the laying of tracks.
Lots of resource is being thrown at the job as shown in this view just south of The Royal.
The current scene at the junction to the new Wolverhampton City Centre extension where the points and track are now fully installed.
Concrete is poured.
