Services on Nottingham Express Transit were disrupted on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October due to an overhead line fault. The fault was first reported at approximately 1700 on the Saturday and was affecting the section between Highbury Vale and Hucknall.
On the Saturday trams from Clifton South and Toton Lane were both being terminated at Highbury Vale where passengers were advised to change for further travel towards Hucknall. This was in the form of a shuttle tram.
The problems continued into the Sunday but from 0800 the shuttle tram only ran between Hucknall and Bulwell Forest to allow the repair works to be completed. A replacement bus completed the journey for passengers.
Services resumed from 1300 on the Sunday.
