Phoenix Park closure for rail replacement

The Phoenix Park branch of Nottingham Express Transit will be closed between Saturday 21st and Monday 23rd October to allow rail replacement works to take place.

Throughout this three day period trams from Clifton South will terminate at Bulwell with a replacement bus service running in a loop between Bulwell and Phoenix Park via Cinderhill. No trams will serve the Phoenix Park platforms at Highbury Vale, Cinderhill or Phoenix Park.

In addition to the replacement of rails close to Phoenix Park the chance will be taken to work on the overhead and trees along this stretch of line.

The remainder of the NET network will be unaffected although a slightly revised service will run. This will see trams every 10 minutes between 0700 and 2100 and every 15 minutes at other times on the Saturday and Monday. A normal Sunday timetable will be in operation on Sunday 22nd October.

Phoenix Park Park and Ride will remain open however NET are suggesting passengers may like to use alternative sites over these three days.
