Upcoming Supertram service changes

The next week will see Stagecoach Supertram services amended on two occasions with replacement buses in use to cover for affected sections.

On Wednesday 29th March the Purple route will be suspended between 1650 and 1930 due to the Varsity event and increased demand. Buses will replace trams between Gleadless Townend and Herdings Park during this period with the Blue route continuing to run as normal.

Then on Sunday 2nd April there will be changes to both the Yellow and Purple routes until approximately 1600. Trams will only run as far as Valley Centertainment as there is preparation work to connect the Supertram network at Tinsley to the Network Rail metals. Buses will operate a dedicated service between Attercliffe and Meadowhall Interchange.
