Monday 2nd January 2017 will see the introduction of new fares for Midland Metro and although the cost of off-peak travel (including the day ticket), the city hop fare and group daysavers will not see a change there will be increases on single and return fares.
The new basic fares with effect from 2nd January are as follows:
Adult Single (Stage 1) – £2.60 (from £2.50)
Adult Single (Stage 2) – £3.20 (from £3.10)
Adult Single (Stage 3) – £4.10 (from £4.00)
Birmingham City Hop – £1 (no change)
Wolverhampton City Hop – £1 (no change)
Adult Day Return (Stage 1) – £3.10 (from £3.00)
Adult Day Return (Stage 2) – £5.30 (from £5.10)
Adult Day Return (Stage 3) – £6.50 (from £6.30)
Adult Off Peak day ticket (Stage 1) – £3.00 (no change)
Adult Off Peak day ticket (Stage 2) – £4.50 (no change)
Adult Off Peak day ticket (Stage 3) – £5.00 (no change)
Adult Day ticket – £6.50 (was £6.30)
Adult Off Peak day ticket – £5.00 (no change)
