It’s a Picture in Time with a difference today as we are also appealing for information about these photos as Bob James is attempting to identify the two Croydon Tramlink CR4000s taken in these photos.
These two images were taken inside Therapia Lane Depot before the system opened but the two trams featured had no identification as to which numbers they were with just stickers in the cab windows stating “A” and “C”. Bob was visiting the UK at this time and believes the date is around 21st March 1998 although it may be that this date is incorrect (one of the advantages of digital photography is that as long as you setup your camera correctly you know exactly when you have taken the photo!)
