Works to start on depot extension works at Wilkinson Street

Work is to start on extending the depot complex at Wilkinson Street in Nottingham to
create more storage space for the extra trams currently on order from Alstom for the Phase Two extensions of Nottingham Express Transit. The work will start on Monday 18^th June and will see a section of the Park and Ride site permanently closed to the public as this land is required for the extra depot space. 22 Citadis trams are to be built by Alstom for the NET extensions and they will need to be stabled at Wilkinson Street as no new depot is planned to be built.
