Tram DVDs now available

A new DVD on Manchester Metrolink has just been released by Great Eastern Transport Films with footage of the system from early 2014 featured. Mark Ellis visited Manchester on four dates (27th January, 12th February, 31st March and 1st May 2014) and many different locations are featured on this 90 minute DVD.

Included on the DVD are 69 of the M5000 LRVs along with a few of the last remaining T68/T68As. The filming on 31st March includes some footage taken in Rochdale Town Centre on the day this line was opened to the public.

As well as film from 2014 the first 10 minutes of the DVD dates from 8th June 2000 when the T68/T68A definitely ruled the roost in Manchester.

This is the fourth tram DVD from Great Eastern Transport Films with previous releases featuring Croydon Tramlink in 2012, Vienna Trams in 2012 and Stagecoach Supertram in 2013. All DVDs are at least an hour in length and cost just £8 with free postage and packing within the UK and Europe.

In addition to tram DVDs there are lots of railway and bus DVDs available. You can find more information on all the DVDs and how to order on the Great Eastern Transport Films website at http://www.greateasterntransportfilms.co.uk.
