Its time for a horse tram in “Numbers”.

Toastrack 12 is the oldest surviving tram which was bought new by the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway being built in 1888. Whereas many other Toastracks which ran on the tramway were extended in length, 12 never received this work and so remains as originally designed. Finished in a blue and white livery it is designated a “museum car” and sees limited use in service, and we have its last recorded use as being during 2018 (although please correct us if that’s wrong!). It seen here on 8th September 2018 with William providing the horse power. (Photograph by Gareth Prior, 8th September 2018)
