The Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Tramway Society have taken their pride and joy, tram no. 7, out again with it returning to Colwyn Bay for the Christmas lights switch-on in the North Wales coastal town.
7 made the move from its usual base to Colwyn Bay early on Friday 28th November before the full set-up for a weekend of celebrations took place. It is planned that the tram will remain in Colwyn Bay for the whole weekend to allow visitors to take a look around the tram. And judging by the weather forecast people may be grateful of some shelter from the rain!
It is also hoped it may be possible to switch on the tram’s illuminations as well to add to the Christmas lights in the town!
This is planned to the be the first of two pre-Christmas outings for 7. It is also planned to be out on Saturday 6th December at the Llandudno Christmas Parade.
