A rare chance to join the team at Isle of Man Railways helping to maintain rolling stock on the Manx Electric Railway has been advertised with an Electrical/Mechanical Rolling Stock Fitter wanted.
Based at Laxey Station, the role involves the inspection, maintenance and repair of high-voltage electrical and mechanical systems across the island’s iconic rolling stock. The successful candidate will end up playing a key role in ensuring the continued safety, reliability and performance of the much-loved heritage assets.
The role is full time (37 hours per week) with a salary range of £27,598 to £33,290 per annum.
