In Pictures: 3101 and 3104 back to fleet livery

There have been a couple more changes to liveries on Manchester Metrolink with both 3101 and 3104 losing their adverts recently.

The first to lose the vinyls was 3104 which had been advertising Manchester Airport. This had been applied in August 2025 but as we entered mid-October the vinyls were removed to return the tram to the standard silver and yellow fleet livery (although one where some of its yellow spots have gone white).

This had been the first advert livery that 3104 had carried.

This was followed by 3101 losing its advert for Me+Em. Another first timer for advertising, the fairly plain vinyls had been added to the tram in September 2025 making it another of the fairly short-lived advertising contracts on Metrolink.

Another recent tram to have lost its advert (this one for Skechers) has been 3061. Deansgate-Castlefield again for this shot with it the back unit of a double to The Trafford Centre. (Photographs x2 by Oliver Shenton, 25th October 2025)
