Emergency works are to take place on Nottingham Express Transit between 0600 and 1300 on Sunday 19th October meaning no trams will be able to operate to Phoenix Park during this period.
The work is needed to remove an overgrown tree close to the tramway which will require the isolation of the overhead between Highbury Vale and Cinderhill.
During this period the stops at Highbury Vale (Phoenix Park branch), Cinderhill and Phoenix Park will be closed. Trams from Clifton South will continue on the mainline at Highbury Vale and will terminate at Bulwell.
A NET replacement bus service will operate between Bulwell Bus Station and Phoenix Park, stopping near Cinderhill tramstop. This will run until approximately 1300 when the works should be completed.
Ahead of the power being isolated the first trams of the day will still serve Phoenix Park with departures to Clifton South at 0604, 0619 and 0634. There will be no trams through from Clifton South before the closure though.
