Details have now been announced for the planned Driver Experience Days on the historic Volk’s Electric Railway. There will only be 16 slots available and with booking having opened earlier today you will need to be quick to get your place!
The four dates when the Driver Experience Days will takes place (with 4 spaces on each day) will be Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th, Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th October. The experience will start at 0930-0940 and should end by 1540-1550. You will get around 1-1.5 hours driving time after expert tuition from volunteers from VERA or VER staff members, and can bring up to two guests. There will be refreshments although lunch will only be available to drivers and not guests.
The experience will cost £250 (with a £125 deposit required, the balance is paid on the day). You will need to be at least 18 years old to take part and due to limited availability you can only book one 1 day. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
