For the first time since opening Nottingham Express Transit are going to offer a service during the early hours of 1st January to aid those coming back from New Year parties in the city centre. Between 0030 and 0200 on 1st January trams will depart Station Street for Hucknall every 30 minutes with return trips also due at 1222, 1252 and 0122.
Speaking about the decision to offer these late night trams, Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, said: “We’ll also be running a full weekday timetable until midnight to help people make the most of the city’s New Years Eve celebrations. What’s more there’ll be no late night premiums on fares and customers can even take advantage of our special offers, including Group Tickets.”
