Double deckers dominate mileage charts for July at Seaton

Its that time of the month again when we take a look at the latest mileage travelled by the trams at the Seaton Tramway, thanks to the latest newsletter. And once again the figure for July show that the double deckers have dominated with 9 coming out on top, although four trams are all quite close.

9 was recorded as covering 906 miles, which is 151 trips driven on the tramway. It was closely followed by 11 (870), 8 (828) and 10 (804).

After its very busy month in May, 6 has another easier month with just the 30 miles covered, which was the lowest of all the double deckers and only 19 with its 24 miles came in lower (of the operational trams of course).

Although used earlier in the month, 15 is now out of service undergoing maintenance but should be back in service at some point in August.

July mileage figures are:

9 – 906 miles

11 – 870 miles

8 – 828 miles

10 – 804 miles

2 – 324 miles

16 – 162 miles

12 – 138 miles

15 – 120 miles

4 – 102 miles

14 – 72 miles

6 – 30 miles

19 -24 miles
