The Bulls in the City art trail is now live and the Metro Bull has been unveiled at its location in Victoria Square close to the Town Hall stop on the West Midlands Metro network.
It had been teased that the design would have a link to a popular television series based in Birmingham and so its probably no surprise that series is Peaky Blinders with the Bull known as “The Brummie Blinder”.
It has been created by artist Megan Smith-Evans and it celebrates Brummie pride with a playful nod to Peaky Blinders. And it does have a tram link, although not the West Midlands Metro as it’s an approximation of a traditional open top tram in blue and white.
Bulls in the City is a charity art trail with proceeds going towards Birmingham Hospice. It runs until 14th September. More details at https://bullsinthecity.co.uk/.
