We have another edition of “Stop by Stop” as our journey on London Trams’ New Addington line continues.
After we depart from King Henry’s Drive we continue a short distance before we come to a signalled road crossing and not long after is another one on what is effectively a roundabout (and if you look on Google Maps at the second crossing you will see the Google Earth photos were captured during some tramway engineering works!). We are then running to one-side of Lodge Lane before we come to the next stop at Fieldway.
Fieldway has a bus stop immediately adjacent and is once again a stop which has platforms either side of the tracks. Each platform has shelters, seating, lighting, passenger information displays, information panels and validators.

2536 calls at Fieldway on the way to New Addington. The bus stop mentioned above is seen on the far left. You will also notice just below the main bus stop is a London Trams sign, this was for replacement bus services as there had been engineering works a few days before this photo was taken. The fact this is a large residential area can also be seen on the opposite side of the road.
