New strategic partnership for UKTram and Rail Forum

UKTram and Rail Forum have joined forces to create a new strategic partnership with it is said will be an exciting step in strengthening ties between the light and heavy rail sectors whilst supporting collaboration across the wider UK transport industry.

This new partnership was initially teased at Rail Forum’s flagship Parliamentary Reception on Monday 28th April by Transport Committee member and Derby North MP Catherine Atkinson, and has now been confirmed.

Through this partnership, UKTram and Rail Forum will work closely to promote opportunities for joint working on shared priorities. The aim is to strengthen knowledge exchange across infrastructure, operations and innovation.

The partnership should see expanded opportunities for shared learning and cross-sector engagement, taking on the challenges and ambitions that define modern transport.
