Another edition of “Out and About” heads off to the Tyne and Wear Metro.
Testing and driver training of the new Stadler Tyne and Wear Metro trains continued for much of 2024 in preparation for the introduction of the units into service. We capture one of the trains in this picture during one of these runs as 555 003 pauses at South Gosforth – complete with “I’m being tested” signs in the windows.
