Another short-notice set of engineering works will see alterations to services on the London Trams network this week, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November.
The work, being described as emergency engineering works in local media, will take place on a section of track near Lebanon Road and means there will be a disruption to services after 2030 on Saturday 23rd November.
Saturday 23rdNovember
- No trams between Reeves Corner and Beckenham Junction/Elmers End and West Croydon to New Addington
- Trams will continue to operate Wimbledon to Reeves Corner
Sunday 24th November
- No trams to Elmers End
- No trams from Wellesley Road to Sandilands and Sandilands to George Street
- Trams will continue to run Wimbledon to Wellesley Road, George Street to Wimbledon and Sandilands to Beckenham Junction/New Addington
This announcement looks set to see an unusual operation with trams from the west terminating at Wellesley Road and then presumably run forward towards East Croydon, reversing there and resuming their journey back east to Wimbledon at George Street.
