Steven Hughes provides us with some more photos – this time it’s a visit to the South Yorkshire Supertram system on 5th November 2024. New advert liveries were the main focus on this visit but we also see some trams in fleet livery with poppies also affixed to the trams.
120 climbs up High Street with a Yellow route service to Middlewood. The tram is in the Bringing People Together livery.
118 has now been in this advert for e-on for around a month. The tram – with poppy affixed by the cab window – is working on the Blue route with a service to Halfway.
The latest advert livery is on 111 and advertises SumUp. Its a two colour advert with this end being the darker end. Its off to Meadowhall as it calls at Fitzalan Square.
The sole Purple route tram on this visit was 109 which is seen here crossing Park Square bridge on the approach to Fitzalan Square.
103 approaches Fitzalan Square with a service to Halfway as another tram waits at the stop heading in the other direction.
112 is in the background having just turned to head to Sheffield Station was we see 399 207 on the approach to Fitzalan Square with a service to Malin Bridge. (All Photographs by Steven Hughes, 5th November 2024)
