We go “Out and About” again in this article and its Edinburgh which is our location.
There can be no doubt that the area around Leith Docks and Ocean Terminal is seeing a lot of development. Whilst this was happening before the tramway arrived it will no doubt be aided by the efficient public transport which operates into the area. Here we see new flats going up with Victoria Dock in the foreground and the Ocean Terminal centre left. The tram is 258 (which had adverts for Rio Brazilian Steakhouse) which is on Ocean Drive and is crossing the one-time entrance to the dock. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood, 14th April 2024)
