Think you know all there is to know about the West Midlands Metro?! Well, a new 25th anniversary quiz has just been launched asking customers and enthusiasts to see whether they may be the ultimate fan of the tram network – and for six lucky winners there will be a prize to not forget with a behind the scenes tour of Wednesbury Depot.
Sophie Allison, West Midlands Metro Managing Director, said: “These are exciting times for our growing network, and this landmark anniversary presents the ideal opportunity to reflect on our successes to date. Thursday, May 30th marks a quarter-century since trams returned to the streets of Birmingham, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton, connecting people in the region to work, school or leisure. This simple challenge offers everyone the chance to partake in the anniversary festivities and help us celebrate this important milestone.”
The quiz includes 11 questions on the past and present of the West Midlands Metro and all you have to do to enter is answer all the questions and then provide your details. The top scorers with the most correct answers will then be entered into a draw with 6 winners being selected.
As well as a VIP guided tour of the depot, winners will also be able to enjoy a week’s free tram travel and a goodie bag of Metro merchandise.
