Today “Out and About” takes a look at a tram in action on the Edinburgh Trams Newhaven extension.
This may have been mentioned before but there is only one stop on the Edinburgh Trams network which has a grand total of no shelters – Foot of the Walk. In this photo it is raining and we are at Foot of the Walk which means you end up with a wet photographer! One of three trams in a vinyl wrap for the Royal Yacht Britannia is 274 which is calling at the stop as it heads towards Newhaven. Towards is the right word as at this time trams were only running as far as Ocean Terminal due to an overhead line fault so that is where it would terminate.
