In Pictures: 267 receives new advert in Edinburgh

267 is no longer saying Hello Fresh on Edinburgh Trams as it has received new adverts for BT and their support of Scottish Rugby. This marks the return to advertising on the trams for BT with the company last having an advert back in August 2023.

The new advert is of the normal Edinburgh Trams partial advertising style with full height adverts on two sections of the tram and the remainder just seeing vinyls stuck above the windows. Using the slogans “Backing the driven” and “Backing the brave” the advert is a double campaign with BT supporting not only Scottish Rugby but also businesses.

267 has now had nine different adverts in its operating life: CR Smith (September 2017-June 2019), EE 5G (June-August 2019), Spotify (August-December 2019), Johnnie Walker visitor attraction (September 2021-December 2022), St James Quarter Christmas shopping and dining (December 2022-January 2023), Tennent’s Lager (January-July 2023), Edinburgh International Festival (July-September 2023) and Hello Fresh (September 2023-February 2023).

Other Edinburgh advert news has seen 271 receive adverts for Brietling – another company returning to the trams.

  • And speaking of rugby… Edinburgh Trams have confirmed they will be running extra trams before and after Scotland’s first home fixture in this year’s Six Nations Championship which once again takes place at Murrayfield Stadium. Scotland will be playing France on Saturday 10th February with kick off at 1415 – the home side looking to continue their winning start whilst France will be hoping to kick start their tournament after defeat in round one. Anyone heading to the match is also able to take advantage of special value for money rugby ticket options. Costing £3.80 for adults and £1.90 for under 16s these tram return tickets can be purchased in advance from https://tickets.edinburghtrams.com/ and downloaded onto a smart device to show Edinburgh Trams staff.

267 and its new advert calls at Picardy Place.
