15 Years Apart: Glasgow 22

Today’s edition of “15 Years Apart” heads to Crich for a couple of images of one of the stalwarts of the operational fleet.

Chances are if you have visited at any point you are likely to have enjoyed a ride on Glasgow 22 with it spending more time in service than out of it. On 8th June 2008 we see the open balcony Standard car at Stephenson Place during the Tramathon event of that year.

Catching up with 22 in 2023 and its just come through the Bowes Lyon Bridge and heads down to Stephenson Place. Not much has changed with 22 over the years (although it has been through the works) although at least its destination blind has been changed! This was 17th September 2023.
