The LRTA AGM is in Rochdale that weekend. Whoops!

  2. Nigel says:

I wonder what works are being done on the Bury line that requires a total shutdown, anyone know ?

  3. Ken Walker says:

Seems strange to have services curtailed on Saturday and running normally on Sunday.

  4. Paul W says:

Sunday is MUFC v MCFC derby match at Eithad stadium.

  5. Bernard says:

It is down to the installation of a new roof at Victoria Staion. The work has been going for several months now. This affects the Bury and Rochdale lines through the station because those platforms are closed down for overhead works.
City v Mufc was last week though I bet City fans wish they could batter them again this week! 3 easy points.

Yes I knew about the station roof work which is taking place (and not before time), I was just puzzled as to why the service was curtailed on the Saturday and running normally on the Sunday when it’s usually the other way round. Shows how much interest I take in football!
