You wait ages for one to turn up (or for some people avoid) and then they keep on coming! We are of course talking about full vinyl wrap adverts on Edinburgh Trams as we now have a fourth design (third at the same time) with 260 the latest tram to receive one. This time its an advert for the Royal Yacht Britannia.
The advert is mainly dark blue and also features a red band at the bottom of the vinyls. As we’ve come to expect from Edinburgh (even these full adverts) it includes window vinyls on the third and fifth section of the tram. The white and madder of the fleet livery has been covered completely by these new vinyls.
260 had previously been advertising BT – Spirit of Scottish Rugby (from October 2022) in the usual “Edinburgh” style which retained much of the fleet livery. Other adverts on the tram in the past include C R Smith (August 2017-December 2019), Johnnie Walker #jointhepact (December 2019-August 2022) and Spotify (August-October 2022).
