We have a final stop off in Rome during 1964 in this week’s “Around the World in Trams”.
As well as the ATAC (Agenzia per i Trasporti Autoferrotranviari del Comme di Roma) tram lines in the city, STEFER ((Societá delle Tramvie E Ferrovie Elettriche of Rome) also ran a series of interurban tram routes to the South East of the city from Termini station, up until 1980. In this photo we see a STEFER motorcar and trailer close to Roma Termini station when operating on the Roma-Genzano interurban service.
