Local business discount scheme launched for NET users

Anyone with an active travel pass or valid tram ticket is set to be able to enjoy discounts from a range of Nottingham cafes, bars, shops, restaurants and more after the launch of a new scheme. “Destination Discount” will range from 25% off food to two-for-one tapas deals and money off clothes.

Alison Sweeney, Head of Marketing at Tramlink, said: “Our new Destination Discount initiative is about not only supporting local Nottingham businesses, but it also allows us to help our customers get the most out of travelling with us. We’ve teamed up with some of the top brands across Nottingham to offer fantastic deals for foodies, thrill seekers and coffee lovers alike. And, this is just the beginning. Over the coming months, we’re looking to have even more great partners to announce so watch this space.”

Current partners in the scheme include Revolution, Revolucion De Cuba, Axed Nottingham, Shop Zero, Mint Duck, all White Rose locations and Blend coffee.

The scheme is only available to anyone with a physical travel pass or ticket, valid on the day attempting to claim the discount. At the current time proof of purchase through contactless is not accepted until the process of proving contactless payments can be streamlined.
