Supertram services on both the Blue and Purple routes will be amended on Sunday 21st May to allow for rail replacement work on Ridgeway Road. The work is due to take place on the outbound track between the junction with Hurlfield Road and Elm Tree House.
During the works all trams on the Blue and Purple routes will only run as far as Sheffield Station with no trams running through to Halfway or Herdings Park. There won’t be any dedicated tram replacement services with would be passengers guided towards local bus services in the area who will be accepting Supertram tickets.
Preparatory works will be taking place overnight between Monday 15th and Friday 19th May (not impacting any tram services). This will see machine cutting, floor sawing and weld pit preparation taking place.
