The Seaton Tramway will be running a Coronation Boat Tram Special on Coronation day with tickets available now to book your place on tram no. 4 for these trips. The tram will make five departures from Seaton Station during the day taking you one way to Colyton where, if you want, you can treat yourself to a Coronation High Tea!
4 leaves Seaton at 1000, 1120, 1240, 1440 and 1600 and travels to Colyton. To secure your place on board you can pre-book a ticket online at https://tram.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/34413?catID=34639&navItem=501338 at the cost of £13.00 for adults with your ticket then acting as a Explorer ticket for the rest of the day. Each ticket will be pre-booked on a particular departure and if there are any spaces after special ticket holders are on the tram then regular ticket holders may travel but there is no guarantee of this.
Once you’re at Colyton you can go the Tramstop Restaurant where a special Coronation High Tea is being served. This includes sandwiches, quiche and a cream tea and will be available throughout the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 5th to Monday 8th May. The tea costs £15 but if you want both tram ride and tea on Saturday 6th May this can be booked at a combined price of £25.
And the Coronation is also due to be shown on the big screen at Seaton.
If the weather doesn’t allow 4 to be used then 19 will be used instead.
