We now reach the penultimate stop on the way to Hucknall in this instalment of “Stop by Stop”.
After departing from Moor Bridge we continue on the single track tramway towards Butler’s Hill. Once more its an island platform that greets us here and there isn’t much else we can say about what is provided at the stop with everything we have really come to expect.
The double track section at Butler’s Hill is again short with it starting and finishing just after the platform. This is 219 arriving on its way to Hucknall.
In this image we take a look at 226 which calls at Butler’s Hill towards the start of its journey to Toton Lane. Once again the Robin Hood line is beyond the far green fence. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior, 19th September 2021)
