Another small improvement in Metro performance

There have been another four weeks since we last reported on the performance of the Tyne and Wear Metro which means another poster has been put up at stations on the network to give another update of how things are going. As with last time there has been an increase in the figures but its only a minor change and still a lot of room for further improvement; maybe with the removal of peak time extras permanently there will be a bigger increase next time?

This performance statistics relate to the four weeks between 5th February and 4th March 2023. Trains are considered to be on time if they arrive with three minutes later or 30 second earlier than the published timetable.

The percentages are as follows:

5th February to 4th March 2023 – 77%

8th January to 4th February 2023 – 75%

5th February to 4th March 2022 – 79%
