Stop by Stop Nottingham Express Transit: Hucknall & Phoenix Park – Bulwell Forest

“Stop by Stop” is back this evening as our journey on Nottingham Express Transit towards Hucknall continues. The next stop on this tram will be Bulwell Forest.

Since we left the last stop at Bulwell we’ve been on a single line with the Robin Hood railway line still running alongside (also on a single bi directional line), but as we arrive at Bulwell Forest we have a passing loop with it including an island platform and tracks either side – one for each direction of travel. There is nothing of extra interest at the stop with it still including features such as shelter, ticket machines and passenger information displays.

This photo shows the rear of Citadis 231 which is at the Hucknall bound platform. The island platform is in the centre of the image with the citybound track to the right and beyond the green fence is the Robin Hood line.

215 calls at Bulwell Forest with a Hucknall to Toton Lane service. In this image we see that there is only access to the platform from the city end. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior, 19th September 2021)
