There will be essential maintenance taking place on the Blackpool Tramway this February which will mean that no trams will run after 2000 during the week for a two week period. Although the works are due to take place between Cabin and Tower, there will be no trams running along the entire length of the tramway during the work.
The work is scheduled to take place from 13th to 27th February but only on Monday to Friday so there will be no impact on weekend services.
The final through tram will depart from Starr Gate at 2000, after which the remainder of the evening on each day will see a replacement bus service run every 30 minutes until 2230 before a final bus at 2315 from Starr Gate. There are returns from Fleetwood every half hour between 2130 and 2330 and then 0015.
Prospective passengers are also advised that they may wish to use either the no. 11 from Starr Gate or no. 14 from Fleetwood instead to complete their journeys.
