Trams &: Sunderland 16 & bus

In this latest look at a tram and something else we are heading back to Beamish as we feature two of the resident fleet at the museum, one being a tram, the other a bus.

Looking at Pockerley tramstop from a distance on the left we see Sunderland 16 which is pausing at the stop to let passengers on and off. The tram will also have to wait for the single line token (locked in the green cabinet on the left) before it can embark on climbing Pockerley Bank as it heads towards the Entrance.

In this photo it is joined by Rotherham Daimler CV6G 220 which is providing extra capacity to transport people around the museum on this day (27th August 2022). This is one of a couple similar buses in the Beamish fleet which have proved to be invaluable since Covid by giving that extra capacity in the transport offering.
